MLSE and Buffalo Bills Announced Partnership to Engage Canadian Fans and Grow the Game of Football
As the Buffalo Bills kicked off their 2025-26 season, the Bills and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) announced that they have entered into a multi-faceted partnership to celebrate the shared passion for sport north of the border and to help grow the game of football with Canadian youth.
The 40th Annual High School Football Metro Bowl Championship took place on November 19, 2025 at the University of Toronto's Varsity Centre in Toronto. The game featured the Chaminade Gryphons winners of the AAA Toronto Bowl (Toronto Public v Toronto Catholic) against the Robert F. Hall Wolfpack the winners of the AAA 905 Bowl (Peel vs. Durham) to determine an overall winner for the region. Robert F. Hall took home the title by a score of 39-0.
On November 15, 2025, Football Ontario, in partnership with the Buffalo Bills, hosted the 2025 Football Ontario Fall Cup to crown fall provincial champions. The top teams in the Ontario Fall Football League (OFFL) and the top teams in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) faced off to determine the top programs in the province. Congratulations to the winners!
The Buffalo Bills partnered with the Niagara Youth Flag Football Organization to host a girls flag football clinic for middle school and high school girls at Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, Ontario Canada on April 5, 2025. Buffalo Bills Alumni Lorenzo Alexander made the trip to Welland to support the girls flag players by coaching the participants at the flag different stations, providing words of encouragement, and taking pictures and signing autographs at the end of the event.
Buffalo Bills Legend Fred Jackson and team mascot Billy Buffalo visited the Football Ontario Club Flag Provincial Championships on July 19, 2025 at the Fountain Street Soccer Complex in Cambridge, ON. The largest Club Flag Provincial Championship in Ontario history showcased the province's top youth talent and the rapid growth of flag football in Ontario, Canada.
